Information Technology has seen remarkable advances in the last half century and in the last decade significant headway has been made in standardising IT Governance. However in many cases its application remains ineffective and difficult to administer. Is the time now right to make a contribution that could influence the next 50 years? |
Forming a steering committe to oversee a proof of concept is the next likely major activity. A single IT process group (say Future Demand) and a single functional area (say Emerging Technology) may be the optimal scope for project value testing. However, subject to concept approval, the Open Source Initiative will be considered for project direction regarding the development of universal software; in the mean time you are invited to submit your opinion below. |
